I recommend Scozia Horse Trekking Experience to any rider or horse lover. I am a beginner rider and had a lovely trekking experience with Shadow. Shadow was not only very calm and forgiving but also willing and forward. He was good at staying steady with me but I can see him cantering around with more experienced riders. He was simply amazing!
The guide, Crissie was attentive, encouraging and a great coach - helped me understand horses better and improve my skills in riding independently in an open space, while ensuring I was safe and comfortable.
The location was peaceful and also diverse in terms of scenery. Our route included a little section of woodland, farmland, hills and reservoir. It was a perfect get away from the city! I also got to untack and groom the horses after the ride under Crissie's guidance.

Not only Crissie is amazing guide but she also super knowledgeable and just a fun person to be around! She provides all the necessary gear for you to stay safe and comfortable during the trail which says a lot! Horses are very gentle and well taken care of. Shadow was a delight to ride with and we had an amazing time together regardless of a little bit of rain during the hack. 3 hours went by super fast and the views are just breathtaking. You also get to ride through different parts of the park and not only stay on the flat ground through entire trail which is super exciting. I really enjoyed the ride and would totally come back again. The ride is a must! If I could I would give 10 stars but google won't allow me!

Lovely time, gorgeous scenery and a very lovely boy to take me there. Crissie made me feel very safe and seeing her bond with her own mount increased that. Look forward to another!

(Translated by Google) You can have a romantic experience strolling leisurely on horseback through the beautiful plains, hills, and lakes of Scotland's national parks. On sunny days, you can see nature and flower fields so beautiful they will leave you speechless. I did a 1.5-hour trek, but 2 or 3-hour trek allows you to walk to the lakes within the park. Even 1.5 hours is enough to fully enjoy the beautiful hills and nature, but next time I'm thinking of doing a 2 or 3-hour trek.
The owner is a woman who is very kind and teaches you everything from how to ride and hold the reins to how to change direction. Even if you don't speak English, she will explain things clearly using Google Translate, so it's a place where even beginners in horseback riding and English can enjoy themselves without bringing anything! The location is also great, about 40 minutes from Edinburgh city center, and there are buses that run fairly frequently, so you can easily enjoy the great nature of Scotland!

- Linda Thomson··from Google

I had such a beautiful and peaceful session with Chrissie and her wonderful horses yesterday!
Chrissie cares deeply for the welfare of her horses, always listening carefully and gently to their needs and respecting them. Big thanks! - Vivi·
Crissie provides a fantastic trekking experience, and I can’t recommend Scozia highly enough. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear how much knowledge, care and respect she has for both her horses and her clients. She creates such a calm, supportive environment, explaining not just the riding but horse behaviour and handling too, which gives me so much confidence. The trek through the Pentlands is unforgettable, with amazing canters and a horse I feel a genuine connection with. I learn so much every time, never feel rushed, and leave feeling inspired and even more excited about my journey with horses.

Amazing hack in beautiful surroundings! I hacked today on the amazing Shadow who took great care of me on our scenic hack in the Pentlands. Crissie and her horses are lovely & I’d highly recommend them for an amazing hack experience.
